"The benefits I experience after each meditation are subtle yet it’s undeniable that I feel different. I don’t have expectations about what happens while meditating but once in a great while I actually have a sensation of lightness or of being lifted. Sometimes I feel entirely one with the universe. That lasts about 1-3 seconds then I’m back to thoughts and mantra. I’ve also had some good cat naps while meditating and I enjoy those too (as does my cat who often sleeps on me while I sit)."
